Why prescribe	Prescribed for Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Recommended Dosage	Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder- Adult- Initial dose, 40 mg/day.The dose may increase gradually after at least 7 days to 80 mg/day and up to 100 mg/day may be used after 2 to 4 week. Child- Initial dose, 0.5 mg/kg/day.The dose may increase gradually to approx 1.2 mg/kg/day. Maximum dose- 1.4 mg/kg or 100 mg.The dose may increase gradually after at least 7 days to 80 mg daily and up to 100 mg daily may be used after 2 to 4 week.
Directions of Usage	Should be taken with or without food.
Route of administration	ORAL
Contra Indications	Inadvisable for the patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, severe cardiovascular disease, co-administered with MAOIs or within 14 days of treatment with MAOIs and hypersensitivity.
Storage Conditions	Store at room temperature.

Warnings and Precautions

Caution should be exercised in conditions like depression or bipolar disorder, high or low blood pressure, seizures, liver diseases, heart problems, stroke, blood or bleeding problems, seizures, trouble urinating, Raynauld syndrome.
