Why prescribe	Prescribed for depression.
Recommended Dosage	Depression- Adult- 75-100 mg/day in 3 or 4 divided doses. Maximum Dose- 150 mg/day. Child- Adolescent- 30-50 mg/day in divided doses. Elderly- 30-50 mg/day in divided doses. Nocturnal enuresis- Child- 6-7 year (20-25 kg)- 10 mg, 8-11 year (25-35kg)- 10-20 mg, Above 11 year (35-54 kg)- 25-35 mg. All doses are given 30 minutes before bedtime and treatment should continue for not more than 3 month.
Directions of Usage	As directed by physician.
Route of administration	ORAL
Contra Indications	Inadvisable for the patient with recent MI, arrhythmias, mania.
Storage Conditions	Store at room temperature.

Warnings and Precautions

Caution should be exercised in condition like seizures, diabetes mellitus, narrow angle glaucoma, urinary retention, prostatic hyperplasia, chronic constipation, history of CV disease, renal and hepatic impairment.
